An illustrious vineyard winery of great historical import, the Kay Brothers Amery property is planted to sacred vines which can be traced back to cuttings transplanted from the original Hardy site at Tintara. The strictly sanctioned accord of Sangiovese, Merlot and Canaiolo, treated to an old world style of vinification and filled to French oak for an extended term of maturation. It is here amongst the ancient communes of Castellina, that local growers have been treading and finishing their wines in the good old fashioned packaging which brought the joy of Chianti to the world.
